At long last, the audio edition of The Hanover Square Affair is out! Available from:

iTunes coming soon

The narrator did an incredible job, not only of Captain Lacey but the many characters that populate the book. I’m eager to get started on Regimental Murder.

Also–The ebook of The Hanover Square Affair is now free! Please pass the word to anyone you know who might enjoy a historical mystery. Available from:

Apple iBooks

Am writing hard on Murder in Grosvenor Square, which will be out this summer or early fall. It’s refreshing to be with Lacey and Donata again!

Captain Lacey in Audio

After a few glitches, I finally am listening to the preliminary audio files for the first Capt. Lacey mystery, Hanover Square Affair. They’re absolutely wonderful! The narrator I chose has a fantastic array of accents–Capt. Lacey, Grenville, Denis–are spot on. It’s as though the voices I heard in my head when writing the book have come to life!

I’ll be finishing the listen in the next couple of days and submitting the files for final production. I’m not sure how long that takes, but I’ll post an alert when the audio is done. And hopefully I can get the next books in to production as well!

I am plugging away at Grosvenor Square! Am looking at a summer release, and I’ll try to set up pre-orders. Will let everyone know when that happens.

German editions

I am working on German editions of the Captain Lacey series. I started with Death in Norfolk (Tod in Norfolk), which is now out for sale! I’ve uploaded the ebook version, with a print version arriving soon.

Kindle Germany:

Apple iBooks, Germany:

Kindle US:

Kobo US: (I can’t “see” the German Kobo store URL, so you’ll have to log into the Kobo bookstore wherever you are and do a search on Ashley Gardner.)

I put this out worldwide, available in every country where Kindle, Kobo, Apple, and Nook sell ebooks. The print edition will be available worldwide as well.

There are already German editions (via Cora) of the first six (though not in ebook). I believe the six are out of print, but used copies are still out there. I am seeing how Tod in Norfolk goes, but I’d like to get them all out in German!

In Audio news, I am having to look for another narrator for Hanover Square, but I’ve got it narrowed down and am about to start that process again. More when I know more.
